Yoga Schedule

Hatha Yoga involves a set of asanas (physical postures) and breathing techniques. These are typically practiced more slowly and with more static posture holds than a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class. All levels are encouraged to attend. Beginners are more than welcome. If time permits, class will end with a short reiki segment.

Restorative Yoga is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. It's a peaceful practice that holds asanas (yoga poses) for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind. All levels are encouraged.

Kids Yoga. This 45-minute class is intended for 3-10 year olds. They will strengthen their bodies through yoga poses as well as play fun yoga games. They will also learn mindfulness activities, useful breathing exercises and relaxation/visualization techniques. All of this happens while having fun, laughing, and fostering their imaginations! Taught by a mom of two young children of her own.
